Tegan Raleigh is a literary and academic translator who works from French and German into English. Her translations have received awards from PEN America and the American Literary Translators Association, and she has participated in translation residencies hosted by the Banff Literary Translation Centre, the German government, and the Centre International des Traducteurs Littéraires.

She holds an MFA in Literary Translation as well as a PhD in Comparative Literature/Translation Studies. The authors she has translated include the 18th-century Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire, the 19th-century scholar Frédéric Ozanam, and contemporary authors Assia Djebar, Pierre Senges, Gauz, and Emine Özdamar.

She has taught language (French, German, and English), writing, translation, and literature at Oregon State University, the University of Iowa, UC Santa Barbara, and the Université de Paris-8. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
